A dynamic microphone is a device that converts sound into electrical signals. The dynamic microphone is made by utilizing the phenomenon of electromagnetic induction. When sound waves vibrate the diaphragm, the coils connected to the diaphragm also vibrate; the voice coil vibrates in the magnetic field, which generates an induced current (electric signal). Both the magnitude and direction of the induced current change, and the amplitude and frequency of the change depend on the sound waves. CRY6151B Electroacoustic Analyzer has a very low noise floor and can support high-impedance and low-sound pressure dynamic microphone testing.
Test-Path
- Connect the MIC under test to CRY6151B DUT MIC input port.
- CRY6151B outputs audio through the MOUTH1 port to make the CRY602 Mouth Simulator sound.
- DUT MIC acquires sounds.
- Input into CRY6151B analyzer for analysis
